We are busy riding bikes. You should be too. Less than two months until the first Burleigh County Cup / Sippy Cup gravel road bicycle event. We are still taking postcards, and will leave registration open for a little while yet. The route is laid out nicely and the starting point is set. We have rented out the entire Eagles Park just north of Bismarck, and this will serve as the start and finish point. There is primitive camping available and we welcome all cyclists to camp friday night before the ride and saturday night after also. If camping is not your thing there are plenty of hotels in the Bismarck area that will suit your needs. Stay tuned for specific times and details.

Are you prepared? Do you have your Cue sheet holder waiting patiently to be used to hold the route cards? Do you have extra tubes and your food picked out? Is your cycling computer ready and properly calibrated so you can find the route and not get lost? Get out, get riding and get ready.

If you are interested in sponsoring the Burleigh County Cup with monetary donations or prizes please email us at burleighcountycup@gmail.com. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and crucial to the success and sustainability of the event.

If you haven't registered yet here are the details:

This will be a self supported event (though the 75 miles option will get a drop bag, see post above) on the gravel roads (very hilly at times) of Burleigh County, just outside of Bismarck, North Dakota. There will be two distances: 35 miles (The Sippy Cup) and 75 miles (Burleigh County Cup). There will be a list of requirements and rules to follow (much of which are similar to Minnesota's Almanzo 100) as well as suggestions and details of the ride.

This is a free of charge event.

If you would like to enter the event and plan to join us on May 12 for a great day of riding, please send a post card with the following information on it:

Your Name
Gender
E-mail Address
Distance class (35 mile Sippy Cup or 75 Mile Burleigh County Cup)

Send them to:

BCC / Tyler Huber
1451 Omaha Drive

Bismarck, ND 58504
Thank you.
